Monday monday monday

Monday has dragged itself out into what seems like the longest day ever today - it's still SO HOT here in Central Arkansas. The temp gauge at the bank today said 100. It's September for Pete's sake and almost the first day of Fall! It's supposed to be cooling down now. I sure hope Mother Nature decides to cool things down soon. I have a feeling we are in for a mild Winter around here.

Here are a few new items that I listed in The Rusted Rose shop over the last few days. Enjoy! :)

Etsy Treasury *YAY*

SixSkeins was kind enough to include my Vintage 7up Wood Sada Bottle Crate in her Etsy Treasury! Thank you so much SixSkeins. Be sure to stop by her shop and check out her fabulous textile creations, she creates beautiful hand-dyed yarns, hand-knitted and crocheted items, beaded jewelry and original patterns :) She is also celebrating her 14th wedding anniversary so be sure to tell her Happy Anniversary by hearting her shop!

I think its time for me to create a new Etsy Treasury as well, now the fun part of coming up with a clever theme. I think I will ask my Facebook peeps for some inspiration for themes.

Hello Friends

Hello Friends and welcome to my new blog for The Rusted Rose. In an effort to get things back on track for myself I decided to make a fresh start, with a new shop name and add some new items to sell. Not only will I have items available in my Etsy shop The Rusted Rose, but I am also now a Demonstrator for Gold Canyon Candle Company. With Gold Canyon you can order directly from me, order directly from my link to the Gold Canyon website, host a home party or host a book party for your friends and family.

With The Rusted Rose shop, I hope to be able to offer many unique and vintage items for your home and garden. I am always on the lookout for that next great find and many times I will offer it for sale if its not something that I have a place for in my home.

Eventually I want to open a shop - a bricks and mortar shop for antique & urban home furnishings and more! I could reclaim and refinish old furniture pieces into new, unique home decor items. My own version of AMERICAN PICKERS so to speak but have a retail store front also. It would not be all that hard to get in with restaurant chains, etc for selling vintage items to decorate their new stores opening up. Of course, many items could still be sold through Etsy store fronts as well. Utilize all outlets for possible sales. This would be PERFECT.
